Prairie State Orchid Society
Centered around Springfield, Illinois, we are a group of orchid lovers who meet regularly to discuss, enjoy, learn about and indulge our passion for orchids. Our members include some experts, some fairly knowledgable growers, and some real novices to orchid care and growing.
What we all have in common is a love for these beautiful plants and a desire to share our enthusiasm.
We invite you to join us at our regular meetings (7 p.m. the third Friday of the month at the SPARC building, 232 Bruns Lane, about a mile north of the west entrance to Washington Park in Springfield), special workshops and annually at our February show held at Springfield's Washington Park Botanical Garden in Springfield.
