Welcome to the internet home of
Prairie State Orchid Society

Centered around Springfield, Illinois, we are a group of orchid lovers who meet regularly to discuss, enjoy, learn about and indulge our passion for orchids. Our members include some experts and knowledgeable growers to those who are beginners to orchid care and growing

What we all have in common is a love for these beautiful plants and a desire to share our enthusiasm.

We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings which are held on the third Friday of the month (7 pm) . Meetings are held at the Hampton Inn, 2300 Chuckwagon Drive, Springfield, IL in the Conference Room. Our annual February show and sale is held at Springfield's Washington Park Botanical Garden in Springfield.
